Workshops
Workshop format & pacing
How Distributed Io runs Structure Workshops and Weekend Intensives — the room rhythm, materials, and what a seat includes.
Workshops are the group expression of our technical analysis training. They are not webinars with a chat sidebar. Seats are capped so every trader marks the same index chart and speaks to their lines.
Structure Workshop — typical half-day
Settle and strip
Introductions, chart hygiene rules, and removing indicator clutter from the shared board so structure is visible.
Swing and range pass
Participants mark highs, lows, and balance areas on a prepared ASX or global index chart. Instructors circulate and challenge soft lines.
Break
Tea and quiet comparison of printed worksheets — no trade chatter required.
Break tests and failed moves
The room studies wicks through levels and how narratives should change when a break fails. One extended case study closes the block.
Take-home checklist
Each trader writes three chart rules for the coming week. We collect copies only if you want written feedback later via a clinic.
Weekend Index Intensive
Two half-days. Saturday mirrors the Structure Workshop with deeper historical packs. Sunday adds timed pre-session brief writing and peer critique. Overnight homework is light: remake one chart with fewer lines.
Capacity and dates
Upcoming dates are confirmed by email when you register interest. We typically run a Structure Workshop every four to six weeks from the Stretton studio or a Brisbane host room, subject to enrolment.
What to bring
Printed or tablet charts of your primary index for the prior ten sessions, a pencil you can erase, and willingness to revise a level in public. Laptops are welcome; phones stay aside during marking blocks.
Next action
If a group seat fits better than private mentoring, send an enquiry naming “Structure Workshop” or “Weekend Index Intensive.” We will share the next confirmed date and deposit details.
