Index Chart Mentoring

Private ninety-minute sessions that refine how you mark structure, confluence, and invalidation on equity index charts.

Who it is for

Index Chart Mentoring suits traders who already watch the ASX 200, S&P 500, or related index futures and want cleaner chart skills. You should be comfortable naming candles and drawing a rough trend, but unsure which levels deserve weight when the session accelerates.

It is not for absolute beginners seeking a full market education, nor for anyone looking for trade recommendations. Mentoring is instructional chart work only.

What you leave with

A clearer pre-session process: how you mark overnight structure, which swings count as decision points, and how you write invalidation before risking capital. Most clients also leave with a short annotation checklist tailored to their preferred timeframe.

Scope — included

  • Review of two to three recent index charts you nominate in advance
  • Live markup of support, resistance, and failed breaks on shared screens
  • Multi-timeframe alignment between daily context and intraday execution frames
  • Practice writing a concise pre-open brief (bias, levels, invalidation)
  • Notes emailed after the session summarising agreed chart rules

Scope — excluded

  • Order placement, brokerage setup, or account management
  • Indicator package installation or software configuration
  • Guarantees about future index direction
  • Tax, legal, or leveraged-product advice

How a session runs

  1. Brief intake — you send recent charts and your usual indices two days ahead.
  2. Structure pass — we rebuild the chart from left to right without indicators first.
  3. Confluence check — we test whether your levels align across timeframes.
  4. Plan write-up — you draft a pre-session note; we tighten language and gaps.
  5. Follow-up — within one business day you receive a written summary of the chart rules you agreed to practise.

Provider and setting

Sessions are led by Distributed Io instructors based at 87 Savages Road, Stretton, Queensland. In-studio places use printed and screen charts; remote places use live screen share at agreed Australian Eastern times.

Preparation

Bring at least one week of marked charts on your primary index, plus a blank chart of the same instrument. Note two moments where your reading diverged from what price did next — those moments drive the teaching.

Constraints

Mentoring places are limited to keep preparation thorough. Sessions are educational. Past chart behaviour does not predict future index moves. You remain responsible for your own trading decisions.

Next step

Request a mentoring place and name the indices you follow. We reply within two business days with availability and the current session fee.
